Is TalkBoard worth it?

Honest answer: it depends entirely on your console. If you run a Behringer X32 family, Midas M32 family, Yamaha QL1/QL5/CL5 or Allen & Heath Qu-16/24/32 desk, the free trial is 15 real requests on your own console — decide for yourself before paying anything. It is not for you if you want a phone or tablet app, an offline AI, or a console that isn’t on that list.

Billing, plainly

Plans renew monthly until you cancel. Cancel any time in the app — Settings → Account → Manage or Cancel Subscription — via the secure Stripe billing portal. Support has the walkthrough.

Tax included

The price you see is the price you pay — $5, $10 or $20. No tax added at checkout.

What’s an “AI request”?

One command or question sent to the AI — “name channels 1 through 8…” counts as one request, however much it does. Saved macros don’t use requests at all.

Is there a free version of TalkBoard?

There’s a free trial of 15 demo requests so you can test it on your own console (or on X32-Edit with no hardware). There is no permanently free plan — but saved macros keep running locally without a subscription.

Is tax extra?

No. All listed prices are tax-inclusive — $5, $10 or $20 is what you actually pay.

How do I cancel?

Any time, in the app: Settings → Account → Manage or Cancel Subscription opens the secure Stripe billing portal. Plans renew monthly until you cancel; your plan stays active until the end of the period you’ve paid for.

What’s the difference between the plans?

Basic ($5) includes 300 AI requests a month. Pro ($10) includes 750 and adds spoken replies with customizable voices. Unlimited ($20) removes the monthly cap, subject to fair use. Every plan controls every supported console.

Is TalkBoard worth it?

That depends on your console. If you run a Behringer X32, Midas M32, Yamaha QL1/QL5/CL5 or Allen & Heath Qu-16/24/32, the 15 free demo requests let you decide on your own desk before paying anything. If your console isn’t supported, it isn’t worth it — yet.
